Agreed. A shame they couldn't get to the NCAA tournament, but they had us on the precipice all 4 of their years.

Will be very tough to replace them

Definitely my favorite Tribe offensive team, maybe of all time. When they were on, it was a thing of beauty to watch.

Best of luck in the future to Omar, Daniel and Mike.

I believe they're the first class in a loooong time (maybe ever?) to not have a single losing season in their four years. Quite an accomplishment and says a lot about what they've meant to this program.

Just to add. Lots of folks thought that it would be tough after Thornton left. The two years after him were pretty solid and represent continuity of the program. I'll bet we'll hear about good things in basketball or business out of all three of them in the next few years.

Shaver has alluded to the fact that Schlotman suffered from some bad breaks throughout his W&M career. He seems to be a great student who is a credit to the College. He was viewed as the point guard of the future as a freshman, then the Tribe had a chance to sign Cohn as a transfer, who quickly became the heir apparent at the point. Then a concussion and some nagging injuries enabled Tot to move ahead of him on the depth chart, taking what playing time was left behind Cohn.

Amazing four years indeed. Love those guys and how they all gave it everything they had all the time. Heart hurts as would have loved to see these guys take us to the Big Dance, but when we get there, and I do believe it is when and not if, these 3 will know they had a huge part in that.

In my opinion Omar is a lock to have his number retired. He's fifth all-time in points after today, and is in the top ten in every other category.

Something to see he and Daniel in tears after the game. These guys are a credit to William and Mary and its basketball program. Perhaps the best 1-2 punch ever at the College.

It stinks to think of never seeing these guys play in a Tribe uniform again.

There's always the CBI/CIT. Perfect year for the team to participate.

RE: Omar, Daniel and Mike
Not sure we'll go to the CBI/CIT. Two strong reasons: (1) the basketball program is trying very hard
to raise and find money to take the team in August outside the country as we did for years ago
to the Dominican Republic (even selling the Charter Day shirts to raise some of the $$$), and (2)
I don't believe the players, who turned it down in previous years, would vote to go this year if offered the chance.

One little side note. Daniel and Omar ended up 2 Points Short of tying the all time scoring record, at W&M, by a pair of teammates.

Interesting. Which pair holds that record?
