Wouldn't be 100% sure of that. Teams haven't been shooting the ball well from 3 and that is a big part of the offense for UNCW & W&M.

I think Hofstra was the only team to shoot the 3 ball well so far

Prewitt with a double-double 20 & 13. We shoot 54% in the second half.

Another thing that was big for our win was Dixon's defense on Dawkins in the paint. I think 3 times Dixon got stuck defending him (with 3 fouls) in the last 5 minutes and all 3 times his good defense made Dawkins miss. Sad that Dixon's post defense is better than Whitman's

Prewitt didn't have a good game on offense, but he didn't give up and played hard on defense. He made his one key shot at the end count and it was lights out for the Seahawks. I hope Knight was just nervous. We need him to get Cacock in foul trouble tomorrow.

Biggest play was Jack's hustle to Omar's three!

And really good defense inside down the stretch.

Omar should live in the post tomorrow. UNCW starts 4 guards and Omar will have at least a few inches on whomever guards him. Feed Omar in the post!

That was one gutty win...Best defense we have played all year in that last 3 minutes. Please bottle that guys.

In the NCAA tourney, sometimes a top seed somehow wins a game it had no business winning, and the next thing you know they're in the Final Four. That was a game we should have lost...but somehow we are 80 minutes away from making history!

This isn't about being the prettiest belle at the ball... it's abt finding a way, even if it's a different way, 3 different times.

Post game TV Tony lamented that the team was not trusting each other until the end of the game. To move onto the promised land we need Devine intervention and a team looking to play together and trust you teammates will finish the play.
We played well at the start and most importantly at the end for the W. Time to savor briefly then move on and focus on UNCW.

Generally, a team playing for the second time in a new (to them) facility, will shoot better than in the first game there. Let's hope that holds tomorrow.

Defense keyed a needlessly exciting win vs Elon. This time of year is about results not style. Keep finding a way into history guys.

Team played like a champion the last five minutes with Omar and Daniel leading the way. Team found a way to win.

Great turnout by Tribe fans, band, The Griffin, and cheerleaders...more than a thousand at the game!

I hope we get this same ref crew the rest of W&Ms games. Thought the Asian ref did very well and I can't think of 1 call that was bad for either team the entire time, which is probably a first all season
