Not a huge fan of it either but it goes was designed to go with the FOC and not stand alone. I would imagine if we ever feel the need to join the my scoreboard is bigger than yours ***** measuring contest it would go in the west end of the stadium.

a lot of good things happening to the stadium, but in my opinion, no matter what we do, as long as we have the track, it will always have the feel of a large high school stadium, the track is the key, get it removed and we will eventually have one of the nicest G5 stadiums in the country.

I've also heard the board currently at Kidd Brewer will move to the baseball stadium. Just a rumor though.

So take that for what its worth. Either way its going to be a huge improvement for KBS as it will not only be 3 times larger than our current board, but it will also sit much closer to the field.

The new board in the Holmes center will the only one of its kind in G5. So we have that going for us...

Not sure if still true. But in 2012 when our basketball arena opened. Our 2 video boards in Trojan Arena were the largest in college basketball

I felt bad for Fox when he took over the program because it had sunk about as low as it could possibly get. Jim's first recruiting class was pretty much trying to get warm bodies in the program and most of those guys are gone. He has brought in some talent the last two classes and Robinson getting hurt didn't help any. Wouldn't be shocked to see more attrition from guys who obviously won't see the floor much from here out. Hopefully these types of upgrades to the Holmes Center will help attract better players.

I hope Fox can get something going and doesn't just end up another casualty of an apathetic fan base. He's a good coach, and no offense to anyone else in this league, but it shouldn't be THAT hard to field a competitive team.

Baker = Laney. Both of our schools have seen some weak leadership.

Yep, this is our Achilles' heel when it comes to the big picture and any (future) realignment. Even though it's not a driving force like it used to be, we MUST figure out basketball sooner rather than later.

No way was Laney worse than Baker. He was basically forced to hire PJ and did nothing but hold us back for the better part of two decades and he didn't hire VanGonad.
