Army has wide receivers?

Note, he didn't say the "used" them, just that they had a coach for them...

2017 Football
Has anyone gone to any of the practices? Curious how the QB battle is going.

Mitchell, assuming he doesn't ascend into Heaven before the season starts.

Any local spotters comment if he is growing his hair out and sporting flowing white robes when not on the field??

Is it possible for you all to be any more cynical. A little positivity would really be welcomed.

Oh, I can always find more cynicism if I try.

Rocco's cynicism re: the W&M QB position over the last ten years, and various posts about this subject by other posters over the last ten years, is ... well ... probably correct ... cough .... cough ... man, that was tough to post! :-)

We have had so many annointed ones over this period of time ... we've also had some tough injuries as well ... I think he would just like to see it play out ... like maybe some actual game action before a certain player becomes a four year starter without red-shirting.

Has that ever happened with W&M football since red-shirting came into vogue?

RE: 2017 Football
From what I've heard, all the QB's are progressing really well, which should please this fan base. No one has separated from the pack, but it's only a week and a half into spring ball. I would not be surprised if we do not have a clear depth chart at this position until the middle of fall camp.

Didn't know Dorka wasn't coming back. That's too bad he was a solid kicker.

Welp... we have a sophomore punter and a coming in freshman kicker... Nice. Dorka was an all american. I wonder why he graduated early.

What happened to Hooper? I just assumed that he'd take Dorka's spot

I completely forgot about him. That's my bad.

RE: 2017 Football
Likes 99% of the athletes, Dorka is probably not playing in the pros. Since our grad offerings are very limited, if he wants to do a grad program elsewhere (or start working right away), killing an extra year (or semester) may not be the best option. Good luck to both him and DiPietro.
