I'm tired of us having to carry this conference in baseball.

A different Mountaineers squad, the West Virginia one, gave us fits this tournament! Coastal Carolina will be back (hopefully) soon to being able to out hit and pitch our opponents!03-banghead

Apps atleast showing a pulse, if they can finish somewhere around 500 ball it would be a great season.

From what I've seen and can tell... Troy is a contender for the top in baseball this year... I don't remember such a hard 8 game stretch to start the season and we have done very well.

Went 2-2 vs the big east champs

Went 2-1 vs a 5-0 UNO who had a top 30 RPI last year and beat #2 LSU over a week ago.

Poor AT has been working all week, trying to find something positive outside of football to talk about for Troy, lets give him this one thing.

TROY baseball leading UAB 4-0 in the 5th inning

This is good news because Troy rarely beats UAB in midweek games. Even when we win the sbc and win 40+ Games we lose to them.

Are Troy and UAB considered rival schools? I wasn't sure what the Trojans history with them has been like in sports...

Yes VERY heated in football till they dropped off. They were THE rival till they dropped football. Very bitter.

UAB isn't on our schedule in the near future tho. I'm sure it will be back

Baseball eh, not really.

South Alabama is by far our biggest rival in baseball... talk about heated games. It's gotten nasty before

USA beats New Orleans 10-7. Gotta get our pitching straightened out, but we can definitely score some runs, especially considering our freshman All American Travis Swaggerty hasn't played since game 2 against Baylor. We've also been without one of our better hitters from last year.
