Clecidor to Princeton
I'm reading on Twitter that DB coach Marvin Clecidor has taking a similar job at Princeton. Good luck coach.

It would be a good opportunity to shuffle up some assistant positions and bring back a certain former QB that was a previous QB coach and recruiting coordinator here. Isn't he still unemployed?

Strange. Why would he leave as our DB/ST coach to be a DB coach at a less-competitive school? Money? Is he from Jersey?

I wish him well at his new school. The coaching profession is tough. You need to be where you want to be to endure the all that comes with the job.

This the time of the year for the coaching carousel to begin.
My question is one Pete Townsend posed , Who's next ?
A certain former coach/QB returning would be a great move for now and the future.

I haven't kept up. Are there any other coaching positions we need to fill?

Or, there is a certain former NFL long snapper that might do well as a Special Teams coach. I wonder where he is living now?

He is living in Williamsburg. Mike Leach right?

The only reason he would leave is money.

Trey Henderson is the DBs coach. Maybe Clecidor leaves and they don't replace him or replace him with a grad assistant.

Princeton (FCS – NJ): Per source, William and Mary (FCS – VA) corners coach Marvin Clecidor will be the new defensive backs coach at Princeton.

Related to WM coaching, does anyone think Kevin Rogers will retire anytime soon? He's been coaching since 1974.

With no real inside knowledge, they just brought in the most highly regarded QB recruit in recent years. My thoughts on him retiring... Hell no. I think he stays until Laycock retires and then rides off into the sunset.

He moved to Williamsburg so that it would be his last stint, but nobody I've ever talked to mentioned that he had a time table.

If you've ever had the chance to talk to Coach Rogers, he is one of a kind. His sense of humor is one that I enjoy.

The coaching carousel is a crazy one. It's hard to understand why guys make the moves that they do.

Just a few years ago we had a RB coach, Chris Barclay. 2014 he left to go to Marshall, then he went to Western Kentucky, and he'll start this spring at Purdue.

It's a tough business to settle down in.

The move to Princeton doesn't look like a good move for most, but it may for him.

DJ Mangas has been a great replacement though.

RE: Clecidor to Princeton
William and Mary is strange relative to lots of places in that we've had head coaching continuity forever and same with other coaching slots (Solderich). So for us if you are up and coming you can either sit there and wait until someone leaves or take off.

Most other colleges have coaching turnover pretty often at the head coach level which causes major overhauls and therefore movement of the coaching staffs
