Jags outhit Alabama, but an error and the first home run we've given up this season were difference as we fell 3-1. Their pitcher is the probably the best I've seen in a while. She struck out our first 7/8 batters.

You give me a little hope that we may be able to take one or two this weekend. We can't make errors, and we have to keep the ball in the ball park.

Osorio, the Alabama ace that USA faced last night, is awesome. Coming into the game she hadn't allowed a baserunner in 11.2 innings and had struck out 25 in that span.
USA getting five hits, a walk and an earned run off of her was a victory, of sorts. BTW, three of those hits and the RBI were recorded by USA fresh(wo)men.

The Jags beat Butler 2-0 behind another Devin Brown 1 hitter and improve to 6-1.

TXST loses to #25 BYU 5-3 and beats Hawaii 6-1

Now at 5-2

UTA beats SEMO and the SELA game is rained out.

Jags beat Murray State 8-3 and advance to 7-1.

Cajuns lose first of a doubleheader to Alabama 3-0 but win the second 11-2.

Cajun's win the series against Bama winning today's game 7-0 with true freshman Alyssa Denham throwing a two hit shutout.

Both Bama coaches are from UL so we have a good shot at repeating the home/home series but you could be right

Apps defeat UMBC 9-2 to move to .500 on the season. Not likely to make much noise in the Belt this year but a decent start for a program that hasn't had much success.

Troy went 5-0 on the weekend, improving to 8-2.

Troy beat Longwood twice, Jacksonville twice, and beat Samford.

USA beats Jackson State 11-1 to move to 9-1.

UTA goes 4-0 this weekend. Wins over SEMO, Bufalo, Middle Tennessee and Morehead State.
