Not a great start.

Listening to Tony Shaver in the pregame, you can tell he thinks highly of Drexel's senior forward/post guy Rodney Williams. The Tribe recruited Williams, out of high school in Richmond, but Williams held off committing to W&M because he thought he had offers coming from Power 5 schools. When the ACC didn't offer him, the Tribe had already signed their recruiting class, including Whitman at the post. He then signed with Drexel.
I have to think that he would've had a big impact at W&M. Most of all, he's a great kid who has shined in the classroom and the community. On the court, he's averaging 17 & 7 as a senior this year. Could probably have swung between the 4 and 5 spot for W&M.

I think Drexel saw more defense on their layup lines than they do right now
