RE: Towson
Towson double teamed Daniel every chance they got, making someone else beat them. That strategy didn't work till the final 4:00. Then the offense just came to a grinding halt.

Adala Moto could have had 10 fouls, but they don't lose anything with Davis on the floor. Other than Knight, I did not see anyone who could stop them. Need to win a road game at Drexel.

We did not have as many assists today. Not nearly as many open looks in the second half.

How can losing be "all good?"

One Tribe. One Family.

Their performance represents the previews of coming attractions. All this whining about the refs is unseemly. To come back from all those three jacks is remarkable. It takes guts. Give them some kind of credit.
Yeah, pretty sure we can give them all the credit in the world, but winning, for me, is a major component in being all good.

Promising is probably a better descriptor.

One Tribe. One Family.

Knight played very well. He is learning on the court as this season progresses.

We could've put them away early in the 2nd half but we missed some key FT's....

We are growing. Keep pushing. This one hurts though.

Tribe deserved to lose, but not due to visually challenged refs. Hope that is PC enough for this board.

RE: Towson
Knight is making tremendous improvement. Very exciting that he is here for 3 more years.

The team... played well for the first 25 minutes, but couldn't play defense at all in the 2nd half.

Frustrating to give up a lead that big.

Knight and Pierce are the foundation for the next 3 years. Our recruiting should be directed toward building around these two.

Even if we tie, we have no chance in OT with Knight fouled out.

The three made sense to me, just wasn't the best look. Daniel really struggled the last 10 minutes. I think he felt it was all on him. Other than the great pass from Greg(where Dixon missed the FT), it was a tough last 4 minutes for him.
Got to be smart enough and flexible enough to take what the defense gives you. Believe Cohn could have gotten to the basket...Oh well.

We put Towson back into the thick of things.

Save Omar for next Saturday.

Have we not won 3 games by a total of 4 points? Something like that. Today, the worm turned.

Elon's abt to lose and NE lost at JMU. The 3-6 seeds are very clogged up.

3 teams tied for 3rd.

RE: Towson
Think their are more positives to take out of the game than negatives. Sure it sucks to lose, but outside of seeding it makes 0 difference.

Pierce & Knight played great and it is hard to expect us to get rebounds when one of our best rebounders in Prewitt is out of the game. As much as I love Rowley, he never stood a chance getting a rebound against the Towson players. Malinowski played well today and hopefully he can build off his last couple of games and keep it going to give us a consistent 3rd scorer behind Prewitt & Dixon

Cohn had another disappearing act and without Prewitt I was surprised we did as well as we did on offense

RE: Towson
Without Omar and, as Tony mentioned on the radio afterwards, with Whitman and Malinowski playing while ill (Tony noted that Whitman drove himself up to Towson today after throwing up all night and that Jack was sick all day), I take positives from the game:

*Guys never let up and gave 110%
*Pierce and Knight were terrific
*We played through several horrendous non-foul calls...Tony mentioned on the radio the poor officiating
(something he rarely does) and that Dixon "got mauled several times without a foul being called".
*Despite being ill, Malinowski continued his revitalized play
*Dixon continued his MVP play

We'll get our revenge, with Omar hopefully back and everyone healthy, on these guys in Kaplan.

RE: Towson
OK, that was disappointing. It wasn't disappointing like earlier in the year when I questioned whether the effort was there. Looking at the schedule I felt this was the hardest game on the schedule and I didn't expect it to be a win, with Omar and with Greg and Jack at full strength.

This game was disappointing because the guys played well enough to win despite the obstacles and were robbed by the incompetence of the officials. There were a half dozen or more missed or puzzling calls that could have made the difference.

These young men made us proud today and have raised expectations. Once these temporary obstacles are past, they will be a steam roller you don't want to get in front of.

Well done gentlemen! Hold your heads high. Run your system and you will do great things.

A lot to look forward to with knight and pierce. Our future is bright with them and milon the next 3 years. That being said why not this year?! We have shown when at our best we are capable of running teams out of the gym. Lots of positives from these last 5 games, let's get healthy and make a run come March!

A little off topic...but bizarre. San Diego managed, somehow, to score only 9 points in the entire first half against St. Mary's tonight...at HOME. I truly didn't think that was possible, but they have only scored 18 in the second half, with :20 to go. Their WHOLE TEAM must be ill.
