Exclamation Senior Bowl Thread -- 1:30 PM CST
I went through and pulled guys from SB schools off the rosters. The practices during the week are where the scouts get most of their information, but the game is a fun way to put an exclamation on this week. Who plays? Who impressed? Who improves draft stock?

Gerald Everett - TE -- South Alabama
Antonio Garcia - OT -- Troy
Eligwe Marcus - OLB -- Georgia Southern

For Gerald Everett, he is a great player in a great class of Tight Ends. You have OJ Howard and Evan Engram at Tight End in this game too, so it will be interesting to see how things play out for Everett. I heard he has been nursing an injury (he already had a broken pinky) so I hope it doesn't affect his ability to play today. He was held out of practice yesterday I believe. Right now I'd guess he goes between the 3rd to 5th round, but some projections have him up in the 1st round.

Troy and GS fans, where are your guys projected in the NFL Draft?

RE: Senior Bowl Thread -- 1:30 PM CST
Antonio Garcia for Troy has been reported as being on of the top OL prospects coming out of the Senior Bowl practices. The NFL scouts really like him. There are a few different projections on ESPN, SI, and others that have him going anywhere from late 1st Round to early 2nd Round.

Here's what Sports Illustrated had to say:

Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy: The hype train might fly the tracks before Saturday’s Senior Bowl game. Garcia (6’ 7”, 302) is drawing comparisons to All-Pro OT Tyron Smith, and Rotoworld’s Josh Norris listed him as this week’s top prospect—just ahead of Alabama TE O.J. Howard. (By the way, the South team features Howard, Mississippi’s Evan Engram and South Alabama’s Gerald Everett in a loaded tight end trifecta.)

Garcia was a four-year starter at left tackle for Troy, this season showing up with strong performances against Tarell Basham in the Dollar General Bowl and—more importantly—against Clemson early in the season. He’s darn near NFL-ready as a pass protector, because of his length, his footwork and how effectively he can use his hands. If his run blocking proves to be up to the task, too, Garcia may yet land in the top 20 on Draft Day.

I have seen Garcia going top 40 all the way to the first round... he has had some really good practices. Some have said that he needs to put on a little more weight but athletically he is a HR. It is a weaker OT class so that should really help Garcia out. The DE from A&M showed him up a couple times 1on1 but from what i have seen and heard he has done really well for himself.

I expect Garcia to be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Got home in time to turn the game on about halfway through the 4th quarter. Crowd looks the way I would expect at this point. This has always been a game where people start filing out after the half.

How did the crowd look at kickoff, hoping Mobile filled that stadium the way we have for so many other years.

Eligwe could possibly go in the first three rounds if he stayed another year, but he declared early and that will probably hurt his stock. His being kicked off the team at Florida State probably didn't help.

It wasn't sold out but a nice crowd was on-hand. It was comparable to the USA-Troy game.

Apparently, he didn't have a good week of practice and his stock is going to drop.
