Not sure why Raquet didn't start either. Best hit and miss stuff among our pitchers and we knew that whoever started would need to pitch very well to be able to beat Royalty.

Hey, these are perilous times for Tribe basketball.

Men's swimming just announced their incoming recruit class for next fall...and it includes Matt Boyer,
who attended an international school in Kenya. The 6'3" recruit made The Southern & Eastern All-Star
Basketball team!

At this point he's certainly worth a look.

I see that Jamie Sara is pitching for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod League and that Chris Farrell is pitching for the Martha's Vineyard Sharks of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. Surely other Tribe players are playing somewhere this summer.

Tribe Sports Info usually sends out a posting listing where all the guys are playing...probably just haven't done it yet. You are correct--many guys playing simmer baseball.

RE: 2017 WM baseball season
Jamie Sara so far on the Cape:
7 games (1 start)
13.1 IP
3 ER
7 H
8 BB
10 K

Baseball America writer Teddy Cahill saw him pitch today and said Sara's fastball was 89-92mph and that his hair rates as a 70 on the 20-80 scouting scale.

K/BB numbers don't look good. Hopefully Sara can improve on those numbers

He's playing against the best amateur players on the east coast. I'm happy with those numbers.

RE: 2017 WM baseball season
Other summer league assignments I've stumbled upon: Chris Farrell and Matt Trehub are playing in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England. Nick Butts and Michael Goldak are in the Piedmont League - Goldak was just named an all-league selection as a pitcher. And Wade Strain is pitching in the Valley League. He's the only one for which I could find stats:
13 G (5 GS), 36 IP, 25 ER, 48 H, 16 BB, 28 K
