After GS at 6-0, there is a logjam for second with seemingly half the league at 4-2.

Yeah that has happened in a few games this year but other than the GA St game it seems we have trouble finishing. 91-80 was the final tonight but it shouldn't have been that close once we got up big we started making a lot of mental errors. That's going to bite us one day.

Little Rock loses to Troy. We are just not very good this year. No defense.

Power Rankings:
Just from what I have watched (haven't seen several of the teams) and looked through stats.

1. UTA:
2. A-State:
3. GS:
4. GSU:
5. UL:
6. Texas State
7. Coastal:
8. Troy:
9. Little Rock
10. South Alabama
11. App State
12. ULM

GS and UL just get abused too much inside on defense for me to put them higher. Both teams really have some strong upsides, though.
UTA is the most complete team. I think they win the RS championship.
StAte is a more complete team with better defense and rebounding than GS (how are you first in 3-point percentage and 11th in free-throws?)
Not many guaranteed wins for most teams here. Will get interesting once we get closer to March.

We haven't figured that part out yet either.

By the way, attendance tonight for AState/USA was around 4500. We're slowly starting to see some fans come back, though part of today came down to Pack Pride day, which is a required function for all sororities on campus.

I just wish Troy could string together more than one or two wins.

Maybe it'll start to happen.

When they can shoot well, they can beat anyone. Matchup nightmare for most everyone.

But like every good shooting team, they can go through sudden cold spells, and when that happens, anyone can beat them.

Required by who? And why would such a requirement apply only to the sororities instead of the fraternities too?

TXST beat ULM 63-57.

ULM needs to find some depth. Not sure they are going to win many games only playing 7 guys. They just wear down in the 2nd half and have lost a lot of close games.

Usually within the greek organizations themselves as I understand it. Frats are there, but not as vocal for sororities.

IMO Sororities are highly regulated compared to Fraternities and a lot of that is due to the National Panhellenic Conference, which is the association of all the major sororities. The campus NPC might have decided to make it a mandatory event where the Fraternity IFC (Inter Fraternal Council) might not have.

We had an entire 3 sections of sororities their. All next to other members, and many in wild costumes. Frats we're there but they were upper section and quiet. It would be hard to convince me that some sororities didn't require members to attend.

Especially since half won't attend another game this year
