I like your style. You need to make the trip to Boone for a game, we've got a plethora of great local restaurants and bars/breweries.
Before the Southern trolls come swinging...yes, they do serve more than opossum.

Been to Boone. Stayed in a cabin in the mountains and did my own cooking except for breakfast. Like the Sunrise Grill's hash.
Also did lunch in a place right near (on?) campus. Good sandwiches.
Scheduled to come for hoops in late Feb. Looking forward to it.

The Eagle Creek thing is intriguing. Open on Sundays? TV's? I'll need to do some research.

Appreciate all the help.
I asked the brewery if they were doing a Super Bowl event on their Instagram account and they confirmed it. They mentioned a big screen in their advert for tomorrow's game also. Sounding pretty good,if I was going to be in Statesboro I might go too.

Some of their beers are pretty good (avoid the spot-tail blonde ale like the plague, it seems to be one of their best sellers by the amount of locations I see it in, but it tastes like piss to me); don't have a sense of how the food is yet, just tossing that out as an outside the box pick.

For an inside the box pick, I'd go with Gnat's Landing.
What is it with small brewers and their best sellers? Diamond Bear Pale Ale is in most restaurants and stores and it sucks. Their Southern Blonde and Dogtown Brown are much better.

That's right. BEST STAY OUT!
...only because I love (to visit) Rabun County and don't want to see it more populated. It's stunning up there, though.

I had a terrific time with Old Yeller and many others at a party downtown. As I expected, Eagles are really good folk.
More good times coming at the conference baseball tournament.

RE: Question for you Statesboro Folk
Plans changed at the last minute so rather than spending the evening by the fire we chose to attend a private viewing party in the down town area of the Boro in "The Hall" the same location the coaches recruiting show was held a couple nights previous. Speaking for the host and more we had an outstanding evening getting to know the Cajun crew! Glad you guys enjoyed the evening and looking forward to many more.
