I wonder how many at-larges UTA and TXST would have had were they in a league like FIU and FAU were in. Instead, the 'cats and Mavs played in the Southland, where most athletic money goes to making I-AA football relevant.

Ironically, the only sports I closely followed when we were in the Southland were baseball and basketball because they were "actually D1" lol. More specifically baseball since when I was in school (09-13) we seemed to spend a lot of time ranked.
