It's funny watching people argue with won.

So USA misses newbie Coastal Carolina and the worst team from 2016 Texas State. And we miss an App State team I actually wouldn't mind playing because we typically match up well with them... although Lamb will be a senior so maybe it's not a bad thing. :).

I've not been a fan of the schedules the past couple years. We will have a tough OOC schedule next year so I hope we're able to put together 6 wins. Regardless of schedule you gotta play it. Go Jags!

No one can say for sure, but you have to understand our confidence here. We have not been a home dog in conference in a very long time. Expecting to be favored in Jonesboro 8 months before a game played, and arguing with freaking ASUwon about it, is kind of ridiculous.

I believe so. I think I remember us as a 3 point favorite. I remember the line seemed odd for a 3-1 vs an 0-4

I'm fairly confident had we played the 2015 App game at home, we would have started as a slight underdog. They were something like 12 point home favorites that year.

We won that game, so it didn't matter, but that's the closest example I could find of where an SBC team would have made us a home dog.

Prior to that it was Steve Roberts' last game against Middle in which the Red Wolves were home conference dogs(+3).

stAte pounded them 51-24 as a 3 point home dog on Tuesday on national TV in 2010.

You must've forgotten that you lose a lot of key players on your team. That whole entire O-Line has to be rebuilt, your slippery QB Voytik will be gone, WR Kendall Sanders is gone... you lose some of your best defensive front players, especially Odom, Woodson-Luster, and Roberson, and all of your defensive backfield is gone except for Blaise Taylor.

Troy only loses three O-linemen on offense. On defense we lose both DE's, both LB's, and just one CB. But every single one of them except one O-lineman split time with a player that can step in next season without losing a beat. Plus, all of us in Troy can't wait to see how the 4-star JUCO recruit at DE pans out.

I'd be surprised if StAte is favored to win the conference over Troy or App State.
