Coastal to have 15030 capacity in 17
According to the CCU fan site phase two gets it up to 20600.
Didn't see any rendering or when phase two is planned.

the renderings I've seen of the proposed stadium look pretty good. Glad to have the chickens in the conference.

I see coastal just hired the Charleston Southern HC to be their OC... that's a great hire!

That truly is. CCU isn't going to be a push over at all.

Phase I is to complete the lower Horseshoe.

Phase II from my understanding is the second deck and suites on the 544 side of the stadium.

It's the same plan, but it is how we are going to attack it. Basically Phase I gets down this year and Phase II is to be finished next year. So the stadium will be complete by 2018

taking a quick look, the main article I saw was your Governor squawking opposition. Has she come around to support the expansion? How about the rest of the state? Is she a "foe" of the university? Where did she attend school? One final question . . . "What is her f'n problem?"

SC's governor is going to the UN. Who knows what her replacement will do. As long as CCU keeps their Billionaire head coach the money will be there to do what they need.

Doesn't matter it passed every hurdle to get approved. And our Governor will become Ambassador to the UN in less then a month. So she isn't a problem anymore.
