It is indeed based on the P-40 Warhawks flown by the Flying Tigers commanded by General Claire Chenault from Waterproof or St. Joseph in Tensas Parish, Louisiana.

This Northeast Louisiana connection is why the ULM Indians became Warhawks.

This was exactly what I feared. I didn't expect to win, I'm just tired of the wildly inconsistent play. And the stupid mistakes.

Giving up 41 straight and getting shut out after leading by 18 pretty much falls into the epic choke catagory.

We play 2 punters, and they are both very good (not tonight though). Waitman normally punts from the right hash, and McKee from the left. It typically works out well.

Yeah, but South had one job...

In the first quarter you could see how good USA could be. Then the 2 fumbles on drives inside the 5 where they should have scored, the crazy fumble by the QB that gave away a TD and the shanked punt......too many BIG mistakes to overcome a pretty good Air Force team. A really inconsistent team all year which could be very good.
