That's two bowl losses for the ACC. If South wins the ACC will need to win every remaining game (including Clemson winning the National Championship) to tie the Belt.

We need a Michigan win here. Not looking so good early.

Clemson will (likely/hopefully/probably) lose one; if not, Louisville has to play LSU and that won't be easy (neither will GT's game vs. Kentucky).

We should be big Auburn fans now--that would force a tie with the Big XII.

03-banghead03-banghead
Michigan let them get a TD on 3rd and 9 to go up by 3 (missed PAT returned for 2 for MI). Gets ball back with 36 seconds left but INT on 4th down and lose 33-32.

GAAAAAA

We need the ACC to lose two more and the PAC 12 to lose two more and for Auburn to beat Oklahoma. (Best ACC chances would probably be LSU or Kentucky beating Louisville/GT and then Clemson losing to Ohio State or Bama/Washington

That's the only way we win the cup outright.

PAC12 already has 2 losses, so 1 more loss for them will do as I believe they only have 6 bowls as well.

RE: Bowl Record by conference
The B1G cannot finish above the Sun Belt since Michigan lost (that one really hurt). Best they can do is a 60% winning percentage.

What happens if there is a tie? Is the money split even more? I know there have been a couple years where two conferences had the same winning percentage.

An 0-6 finish is highly probable for the MAC now. The MAC is overrated every year if you ask me.

This bowl season should really be an eye opener for some people.

Generally agree but they do come up with some top QB's from time to time that we don't have which makes them dangerous.

I'm proud of the U.S. Army for entirely different reasons dating back hundreds of years to places like Concord, Europe, the Pacific Islands, Korea, the Middle East and Vietnam which today (12-31) marks the 41st year of the end of that terrible war. I recall the heroes and pray they rest in eternal peace but I also remember LBJ and McNamara for entirely different reasons.

Louisville is getting pounded by LSU, so we're going to get the ACC loss we need. As long as Clemson doesn't win the National title, we will finish ahead of them in bowls.

if Washington doesn't win the National Title, we will also finish ahead of the PAC 12. Only remaining question would then be the Big 12...if Oklahoma beats Auburn, they will finish tied with us. If Auburn wins, then there is an excellent chance we win the cup outright. That game is scheduled for Monday.

ACC is 7-3.

For an outright SBC bowl challenge cup: Ohio State and Auburn must win and any loss by Washington or Southern California. Washington can still win the national title as long as Southern California loses.

So the only scenario where we don't at least tie is if Clemson wins the national championship, right?

ACC wins with a Clemson title, ties with a Clemson win and loss.

B12 ties with an Oklahoma win.

P12 wins with a Washington title and a Southern California win, a tie can't happen.

B1G was eliminated with Michigan loss.

Who is calling Alabama's O plays? Good gravy. They almost look like TXST is on the field instead of numero uno.
