This one hurts a lot.

I just wonder where they are on production of episode 8 and what her roll was going to be in episode 9.

Another pop icon gone this year, terrible for her family as well. To out live your children has to be a horrible thing to deal with.

8 already finished filming. 9 is another question entirely.

If they didn't finish her off in 8 or plan to change it they may use CGI to do so in 9. They used CGI on the commander in rogue one. The original commander died in 1995.

RIP Carrie Fisher she will be missed. 2 stars from my 2 favorite movie franchises have passed, Checkov being the other.

But to make one correction, she did not go to the dark side. She will forever stand next to Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin.

Oh they could always show previous footage of her being on some planet and the opening scene of part 9 show the planet being blown up by the Dark Sides latest new weapon and claim she was on it when it was destroyed.

Sad and I am a fan, but enough with this 2016 sucked because famous people died crap and 2016 sucked in general. For 99.9% of us little changed from 2015 this bandwagon 2016 sucked crap is lame. How about 2016 sucked because real reasons I dont know like, I got laid off, I got cancer or my mom died instead of some random celebrity died that gave to ***** about me and my candidate lost a democratic election. People in Aleppo would gladly tell you stfu about your "bad" 2016.

How about I was referencing that 2016 was a **** year for entertainers, that I particularly liked, dying. Nothing else. I don't know what weird ass stuff you're going off about but whatever guy. No just legit examples of a year really sucking for folks.

I have as much right to tell folks that 2016 did not suck as much as they are saying it did for IMO dumb ass reasons like celebs dying or Trump won. That is the crap that is being spewed mostly on social media and places like this. Saying 2016 "sucked" has become some social media fad rather being rooted in fact or real life altering stuff. Celebs die every year their deaths are no more important than anyone elses. How about it sucked that the guy that completed the first artificial heart surgery died. Probably made a little more of an impact on our lives than some random celeb.

Let me preview 2017 for you, more random celeb deaths it is going to suck for you again I guess. Lets not bring up a lot of the deaths are caused by bad life choices made by them either.

I hated Leonard Nimoy died more than any death this year but 2015 was not different than 2016 other than our coach actually sucking.
