well let's keep a little honest perspective here. ASUs game might have been on at the same time but it was on a channel that doesn't get anywhere near the exposure that ESPN gets. So yeah your game would have been seen by more people. Had ASUs game also been on ESPN the coverage might have been a much closer split. And I am pretty sure that the USM/ULL game wasn't on yet when yours ended.

Sorry to burst your bubble but South Alabama Air Force game will blow out the tv ratings.

I had forgotten ya'lls game was on at the same time because it wasn't in the ESPN group on my channel guide. I saw a score update later that reminded me.

It also probably doesn't help viewership when the game lasts 5 hours.

I'd like to know why the conference agreed to having two bowl games on at the same time.

I wasn't counting stAte/UCF game. If I did, four games overlapped at some point.

FCS Playoff on ESPNU
DII Championship on ESPN2
Houston/SDSU on ABC
ArkSt/UCF on CBSSN

It was one of the better Bowl Games . . two very good and equally talented teams.

Pretty good for the conference, good game, good win and a lot of people saw it

Not surprising, it was an interesting matchup.

Add in that the UNC/Kentucky game was on as well.

There was no comparison to Arkansas State being made. Everyone knew and accepted the fact that not as many people have CBSSN so why can't you?

We're not being serious. If 200,000 people watch that game, I'd be surprised. Not because it might not be a compelling matchup, but its hard to watch a team on TV if you'd don't get a channel that covers it.

And our other champion played in a bowl that most people couldn't see. And App played in a repeat bowl because 2 of the top 3 bowls wouldn't take either of our champions. But that's for another thread or two.
