I am sure the Colorado School of Mines was mentioned as "satire". This school actually exists and is rated as one of the foremost Engineering Schools in the US. For what it is worth: There were ranked #14 in Div. II's final football poll this year.

La Tech has proven they can consistently win and joining AAC would improve their recruiting and over all perception in Louisiana.

I would rather invite Tulane again then bring in Louisiana Tech

The only CUSA school worth talking about is Southern Miss. Ohio is the strongest school out of the MAC.

Funny to see ya'll sneering at present C-USA teams. On the field, there is no difference. Seriously. 85 scholarships is the big equalizer. UTSA and WKU are newbies, with newbie support, but they have MUCH more potential than Tulane, SMU, and Tulsa.

ECU should schedule WKU. They play good ball. They would travel better to Greenville than a LOT of your current division-mates.

C-USA and the Sunbelt need to merge along competitive/political lines.

Sure they can hang for 1 post season game which is their G4 superbowl, facing AAC teams which have beaten each other up over the course of a tough P6 season. Most of these G4 champs wouldn't even be bowl eligible in a P6 league like the AAC.
