Bowl season is when conferences either put up, or shut up. So far, so good for you guys. Two impressive wins, but three good games. So far, the AAC isn't looking so good.

Really need Troy to win now, because I don't have much faith in SoBama or Idaho considering their opponents. Lafayette was horrible, they might arguably be the worst team in this bowl season.

Our cajun friends put up a good fight. Sure was hoping for a 3-0 start but it wasn't meant to be.

Overall, I have to say the profile of the Sunbelt is rising at a steady pace.

I sure hope our bowl win means we start getting out of the dog house for our OOC with our conference mates. LOL.

Well... they seem to think we are. Just hoping it calms some of the rhetoric.

Seriously, the conference took a step forward this year. I'm glad stAte could be part of that. Those young men worked hard to turn things around after that disaster of the first 4 games. Proud of them.

I think the SBC will wind up this bowl season with a Troy win over Ohio, USA loss to Air Force, and an Idaho loss to Colorado State to finish at 3-3. Not bad at all considering who your teams were matched up against.

What about USA vs Air Force? I think USA can win that game. 4-2 is what I have the Belt at.

Worst team is 5-7 North Texas. I think ULL would beat UNT this season. I'd say Southern Miss was one of the better 6-6 out there.

Yeah, well, we start with Nebraska, then Miami at our place, slide in an in state SWAC team (UAPB) and then on to SMU. Surely we won't lose to an FCS team 2 years in a row, right?
