I am expecting your official blog with your SBC Predictions shortly, and for you to predict UTA 1st in both men and Women.

Don't let me down.

So hesitant to put the men first, but I think their overall body of work is better and there is more upside with Hervery STILL recovering from ACL repair.

I need a closer look at the women to see, but they likely will be top three.

In his post game interview you could tell Marlin was very happy with his team and their record, but IMO he really felt like MoSt was a win that we should have had. I agree, and thought so at the time.

We're kind of in the same boat. McCasland is happy with the record, but feels that we let winnable P5 games in TCU and Alabama get away from us.

Either way 7-1 against Mid Majors OOC is very good. There are no major conference teams in the Sun Belt.

Good road win for us today at Tulane. We had lost 6 straight true road games dating back to last season.

We're currently #13 in conference RPI. If that can hold, it seems like about the spot where we can feel pretty good about how the conference has performed going into the league slate. In other words, there are no conferences above the SBC that we have no choice but to say, "Dang, we really should be better than them..."

If we could get to the point of consistently mixing it up with those four immediately above us (WCC, MWC, MVC, CAA), Belt basketball will be on a nice trajectory.

Astate down 9 to Minnesota with 8 minutes left. Staying in the game despite too many turnovers

Looks like Minnesota wins the SBC this year. They have wins over Louisiana, UTA, GaSo and stAte.

Don't forget honorary Sun Belt Member Arkansas, they beat them too.

Except for GaSo, I think the SBC teams that lost there would win if they played Minnesota at home rather than on the road.
