Meanwhile, Trump who was criticized for not throwing more money into the fight, probably spent the least in recent memory, had millions left, and still won.
Quote:Hillary Clinton and her supporters spent a record $1.2 billion for her losing presidential campaign — twice as much as the winner, Donald Trump, according to the latest records.
The president-elect, who confounded critics during the campaign by saying there was no need to raise or spend $1 billion or more, ended up making do with $600 million.
Clinton’s expensive machine tore through $131.8 million in just the final weeks, finishing with about $839,000 on hand as of Nov. 28.
Team Trump spent $94.5 million in the home stretch — from Oct. 20 to Nov. 28 — and had $7.6 million left.
RE: Cost of Clinton’s Losing Campaign: $1.2 Billion
The Clinton team spent so much time trying to show Donald was a rich, greedy, shady businessman that they forgot it was an indictment against themselves. I remember being so turned off at the sheer number and repetitiveness of negative ads they ran during the campaign. Blatantly wasteful and ineffective. Arrogantly so, I might add.

Even better, think of how many small businesses, investments, startups, research, jobs that could have benefited from that type of money.

The mysoginist bit played against her too with many people. She vilified Bill Clinton's victims, one of which he paid off in her rape lawsuit.
And when she talked about his judgement, she placed the focus on her own incredibly bad judgement.

^^^ sarcasm duly noted
it's shameless how easy it is to spend others money with the only goal being to retain power and be master of the puppets...
the irony that is being displayed by the dims after this loss is as good as it gets......

Wish they could have kept a couple million of it to shred so we could use it to soak up the leftist tears in here. I mean after the Mach meltdown this morning we are getting close to ankle deep.

OMG, a person in charge who knows how to accomplish more at about half the cost....and have plenty of money left over! The HORROR! What's next, get more Americans back to real work by having a much smaller government and have more people making more money, especially in the middle classes? TERRIBLE! And then help poorer people raise themselves up a class without tons of worthless government "programs" and useless social workers by perhaps instead bringing them into instead of pushing them out of the economy? UNHOLY! Finally, making our enemies maybe actually respect us again rather than push us around like a feather and actually have to worry about how we might defend ourselves as a country economically as well as militarily? SACRILEGE!

In Clintons defense, it is really expensive to keep all of those field offices open. You know, those same field offices that couldnt get a single volunteer to show up to help out. Yea, those field offices.

The really sad fact in all of this?? Very wealthy people on both sides are willing to shell out this type of money to install a person in the office - to have influence on what decisions are made. Not necessarily decisions that are best for the country - but best for those that "paid for it".

Same here in California.
And all but one of the Hillary ads had more pictures and quotes from Donald than from her.

But we were being constantly told she had the far superior game plan for the path to victory.
