Their recent football newsletter listed a football game at W&M on 9/16 next season.

If so - our 2017 OOC set is complete: @UVA, @Norfolk State, Bucknell.

Bucknell went 4-7 last year. Should be an easy one. Out of the patriot kind of surprises me.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Elon was an "easy" one this year, and now we are replacing a quarterback, a running back, three starters on the offensive line, two starters on the defensive line, and have a significant portion of our roster coming back from injury.

From what I have heard, having a Patriot member on our schedule is going to be commonplace over the next few years. We have re-signed another series with Lafayette (not sure if 2 or 4 games) and Colgate also on a future schedule.

I think they are good supplements for our OOC.

Is there going to be a return game in Lewisburg? And I prefer PL to MEAC schools when it comes to scheduling. I'd like to see us pursue Georgetown if we're looking at PL schools.

Georgetown would be ok as long as it's only a home game. Their facilities are awful.

Haha but they propose improvements at least once a year!

Is Georgetown in the PL for football? I thought they were in the same conference as Davidson for football - I think it was called the Pioneer?

PL for sure. I only know that bc most PL fans want them out.

2,500 seat capacity...mostly a LAX and field hockey stadium. Great drive for me but G'town has no business hosting a CAA team.

No I promise they're in the Patsy League. Right at the bottom of the standings every season. I think they still refuse to allow scholarships even though the conference does.

When I was growing up the Redskins worked out at Georgetown. We used to party with them at Teahan's, a local joint right across from a campus bldg and up the street from the 1789. Great memories.

You're hanging in there. That was 1945.

RE: Bucknell
Looks like we are beginning to get some details on next year;s schedule:

Sep 2 at UVA
Home Game with Bucknell(Prob Sep 16)
at Norfolk State(Prob Sep 9)
Sep 30 Stony Brook(H)

I assume Nov 17th will be at Richmond. So, 6 more games to go. 3 home and 3 away. Will be interested to see which 6 other CAA programs we get. I guess given recent history Towson will be probably be Home Senior Day game on Nov 10th. I would love it if we could get Norfolk State to also be a home game giving us 6 home games, but I guess that we will only get that on seasons with 12 games.

Now, hoping for a improvement and a magical run for this season's basketball teams.

That's funny. Actually I'm talking about the late 50's thru early 60's. We did have a pair of Redskin pants signed and used by Sammy Baugh in the laundry hamper at school. Gold in color. Really cool. Thanks again T. I am hanging in there.

I'm not ready to consider ANY game next year an "easy one". We are losing a lot of starters from a 5-6 team, and possibly starting a true freshman at quarterback. We've got a head coach who openly tells the media that he now delegates just about all aspects of his job, from recruiting to watching film to play calling.

I fear this is not going to be a good year.

The Tribe will travel to Dick Price Stadium in 2017. I urge all Tribe Fans to follow them and partake in a great pregame tailgating.
