Haha.

Whipped?

The Cajuns won on the scoreboard, which is ultimately all that counts, but ULL got their asses "whipped" all over their home field that day.

1st downs 28 - 15
Total yards 521 - 292
Passing yards 393 - 242
Rushing yards 128 - 50 (The prophet got demoted to a small cult leader)

Unfortunately, for Red Wolf fans, our offense's ineptness in the red zone, kept this game from being a blowout in the Red Wolves' favor.

But, the Cajuns found a way to win, and I salute them for that. That's football. Sometimes, the most dominant team on the field does not win on the scoreboard.

They whipped you.07-coffee3

One could argue our success in red zone defense played a part in that. We do better when the field gets squeezed.

I may have to place a bet for the first time in my life.

My advice would be to wait. I think most early bettors are jumping on AF -12.5 right now and the lines will move to the advantage of the Jags bettors as the game approaches. Just a guess, but a somewhat educated one.

Yup... just checked. 85% of all Vegas bets on the matchup are currently being placed on AF. This line's gonna moooooove.

My guess is around 15-16 by game start.

That'd be great. I'm expecting more like between 12.5 & 14 but I'd certainly take 15 or 16.

If you think they "whipped" us, you are an idiot. The facts are listed plainly for you to see. We whipped them up and down the field but we couldn't finish in the Red Zone. They made the plays and beat us but getting 229 less yards than the team you beat is not "whipping" them. Not only that but in what world is beating someone by 5 points, with them getting a call overturned in the last few seconds that would have won it, considered a whipping? Trolls.

I would agree with that argument and certainly feel that played a role.

We definitely get better in the redzone because our secondary is a weakness..helps having that 12th man back there.

It has something to do with it, but even then, we missed a chip shout FG that would have changed the situation at the end to where only a FG wins the game instead of a TD.

The sheer number of Red Zone trips should have been enough to offset the Two offensive TD's and weird Defensive TD you had.

Did your center get hurt too?

As for USA, I'll take two scores to be safe but I wouldn't bet against them flat out winning.

It will either be an AFA blowout or a slim upset for the Jags.

In Bleacher Report the Cure Bowl ranked ahead of all SBC bowls except APP's. Yeah I know BK. Still their opinion is as good as any...kind of funny. Bombard away.

Or a blowout for the Jags (ex. see Sun Belt results from Week 5, 1 Oct 2016)

I appreciate your faith in our program. Or your lack of disdain. They look the same sometimes. Either way, I'll take it.

But AFA runs the TripOp.
Half our team starts having epileptic seizures when they see that Cthulhu Offense take the field.

I hope you are Righty McRighterson and I am Debbie Downer, but I wouldn't bet on this game. I plan on being roaring drunk at kickoff.
