Lasalle
Dragons play their 1st of 3 Big Five games this afternoon at the DAC against Lasalle.

Despite playing a local rival that's just a couple miles from University City, there are plenty of seats available.

This is just the 2nd time that Lasalle is playing at the DAC since the Lasalle separated from the ECC in the early 80's. Drexel lost to the Explorers at the DAC 65-55 back in December 2014, while the Dragons got their first win of the season least year at Tom Gola Arena 66-53.

Lasalle is a team full of transfers, since it's so tough for them to recruit Atlantic 10 calibur 4-year players to North Philadelphia.

Of the 13 players on their roster, 5 came from other schools, and 4 from major programs.

Did not get a chance to even follow this game, but it seemed like from the halftime and final score, that this game was never close.

RE: Lasalle
Looks like another team shot the lights out against us. Hope this is not becoming a trend of abysmal defense. The other bothersome trend is Overton on the offensive end. Did I see that now he's missing open lay ups? Not sure how long you can just let him go to just shoot through the slump. Kari is earning those minutes, but it would be nice to get some production out of Miles.

RE: Lasalle
Last 2 games were extremely disappointing - especially on the defensive end. Agree - something is wrong with Overton - heard that he was lights out in practice. You think he would fit in nicely with the up tempo offense?

Another case of "Kenny Tribbett" syndrome? Someone who apparently was awesome at practice but was lost on the actual court?
