The Eagles will be no more as they will use the Savannah State Tigers branding.

That's just what I heard. Pretty reliable source.

Whats funny is that something the exact opposite is likely to happen with a school in Savannah.

I'd love to here more on this - is merging with Armstrong really going to happen?

Yes that is what I have heard

Only a matter of time.

Charlie Strong might be job hunting after the season. UT just lost to Kansas, who hadn't won an FBS game in 2 years.
Ok, so maybe we aren't the worst FBS team after all.

That is all kinds of intriguing...hmmm...
If he is fired do you think another school jumps on hiring him or is it too soon?
It's a tough call. Texas has unlimited resources with only OK to stand in their way. OK St, WV, TCU, Baylor, TT, K State...you should really control those teams. KS and ISU should be afterthoughts.
If you can't win in this 10-Team P5, are you a bust?

I dont think so . Hes 53-36 at present. While texas was struggling TCU and Baylor along with ok state got better. He just caught some bad breaks literally. Plus i think he may be in line to get a 10 mill payday. So yeah if im a lower school i roll the dice so to speak.
