Welp. I didn't realize a thread had already been created. If any mods want to move my thread here to clean up, that's fine.

Deangelo Henderson--current holder of record for most consecutive games with a TD in all D1 football--is killing Liberty.

28-0!!! This is beautiful. Still the first half ?

Anyone wish they had picked Liberty over us now?

No, no one wanted Liberty ever. That's why you guys had a warm seat waiting for you when ready for almost two years after JMU decided to stay CAA.

Figured I'd give a final update: CCU obliterates Liberty 42-7 in a final middle-fingered salute as we leave them behind in the FCS. Rivalry complete.

Nice. Moglia isn't screwing around with his transition year like Jeff Monken and Scott Satterfield did.

Love the Teal and how it looked. I wish NCAA allowed teams to do this more. I know a rule was instated a couple years back that only green turf would be acceptable. Cool to see a Jags field of blue like Boise's. What other fields would look cool different color than green?

Could you imagine Oregon playing on a highlighter yellow colored field. How awful would that be to look at on tv???

Eastern Washington has a bright red field, and to me, it looks awful.

Agreed, my eyes literally start to hurt after only watching for a few minutes of EWU's field.

That's unfair to both. Monken had an insane amount of injuries and Satterfield was a first-year head coach who had to bench the pre-season SoCon player of the year and dismiss the best player on the team.

We've had a ton of injuries as well and started some games off really slow. Hell, our best healthy passer is a former baseball player and was a GA for the football team - he just played QB in high school, had a year of eligibility left and volunteered to be a backup. He's the 7th guy who we've played at WB this year.

The main difference is probably the overall strength of schedule - you guys had better conference and more teams with a grudge. We have 8 home games and games vs Bryant, Central Connecticut, Hampton, ...

I do recall that Satterfield inherited some issues since the transition from Moore wasn't as smooth as one would hope.
