Only an organization as stupid as the Libertarian Party could take this year's election and completely screw their chances by nominating a complete idiot as their presidential candidate and some nobody closet-liberal as their VP.

Honestly, the LP couldn't have been worse during this election cycle. The two most polarizing candidates in decades, gobs of disenfranchised voters.....and What Is Aleppo is running at about 2-4%. Then their d-bag VP candidate throws in the towel and backs the establishment.

Weld threw in the towel the moment Gary won the nomination. Both have done significant damage to the LP. I let my membership lapse and was considering rejoining until I saw the LP squander a golden opportunity.

I bet a friend that they would not break 5% nationally. I'm guessing it ends up closer to 3. Even that seems high with that ticket.

I think Weld had his heart in it until Aleppo and not qualifying for the debate in September.

Going strictly by the platform, I support it. But their campaign was dysfunctional and disappointing.

I like what Johnson stands for, but his relative lack of charisma and focus hindered a real opportunity to make a splash.

Tim Kaine is top cuckold.

Yea, my thought on this too. The way he and his "supporters", all claiming to be true believers and committed to the cause, simultaneously bent over and grabbed the ankles was, if nothing else, impressive.

Here in Georgia, the presidential ballot has only three names: Clinton, Johnson, and Trump. Given those options, I reluctantly went with Johnson. But what a painfully incompetent and dreary campaign the LP ticket has waged this year.

Yes...Johnson was a terrible campaigner. He deserved much of the criticism of his performance.

If Michigan turns into a dead heat and I decided to abandon Johnson, I'd opt for Hillary.

Johnson was pretty split down the middle. Although he was found to be taking more Dems than was originally expected, especially from Millennials and former Bernie Bros (hence the MSM assault on him beginning around Labor Day).

I think Trump's recent bump is from Independents and formerly undecideds, as well as manufacturing union rank n' file in the Rust Belt who actually believe Trump's trade war will bring back jobs and industry.

I honestly don't think the FBI reopening the email thing is causing the recent shift, despite popular belief.
