According ro Raider 1 on Cougarsden

Quote:Cole Kristynik, QB from Kilgore JC will be joining the Coogs for the 2005 season to add depth behind Kevin Kolb. He is originally from Cy Falls HS in Houston and went to QB camps at Tech while Briles was there. Last fall, he lead Kilgore to the SWJCFC championship, led the conference in TD passes and efficiency, was academic All-American and Kilgore's Male Student/Athlete of the year. Gives UH a backup QB who has actually taken snaps in college. There's the info, and best of luck on another bowl trip in '05.
Too bad he couldn't be here now to learn the offense, but this is great news if true. This way we could definitely redshirt our two freshman QBs we recruited last year.
