– With the AAC all but out – unless Navy finishes drill – and no one in Conference USA with fewer than three losses, who are the big winners?

– Troy Trojans: 6-1 after beating South Alabama, it’ll be a hard sell to put in a team from the Sun Belt – the resume isn’t all that great – but the lone loss was to Clemson 30-24. It’ll take a few losses from the other key teams in the chase, but win out, go 11-1, and at least they’ll be close.

Not until they win their conference championship game. If Boise and WMU lose in their CCGs, all hell breaks loose. If a couple more games went our way, Troy and App are very much in this IF either runs the table.

Glad Troy and the SBC is in the conversation. I will support any SBC team for an NY6 Bowl . . good for everyone in the Sun Belt. We all sink together . . or . . we all rise together.

Troy will most likely lose 1 or 2 games (either vs GSU or App St). Still a good overall record and a bowl game but definitely no NY6 Bowl for Troy.

Glad Troy and the SBC is in the conversation. I will support any SBC team for an NY6 Bowl . . good for everyone in the Sun Belt. We all sink together . . or . . we all rise together.

I can't support Troy for a New Years 6 bowl because they'd have to beat us to get there. I'd much rather knock them out personally.

Our games gonna be packed especially if we beat App. With it being on tv

The stars would have to fall in place. Need to go 11-1. Have Boise, WMU and Navy all lose in their CCG. Troy would be the choice.

Accurate.

Anywhere but Montgomery. I'd love to go to Orlando. NY6 talk is cool, but it's an extremely long shot. I'm just happy we're going bowling.

We packed the Ladd on a Thursday night 2.5 hours from TROY

With a lot of help from South Alabama fans. Can you pack your own stadium without help from our fans, since only 50 or so will make the trip.

Depends on who Navy loses to..if its USF, they could get in before Troy at 11-2. USF will have the same number of wins and a win over a G5 OOC.

If SDSU runs the table and beats Boise in the final, they'd have a better record as Troy (12-1). Sure they have a loss to USA, but they also have a win over Cal. Good news. Both have to travel to a surprisingly good Wyoming team. Best case scenario. Wyoming beats SDSU then SDSU wins the CCG.

WMU has to lose either two games or lose its' CCG. And WMU isn't likely to lose in the CCG. If Toledo wins out, or wins at WMU and then wins the CCG....they might go over Troy. The best case scenario: Toledo upsets WMU then loses the CCG.

So, I see the possibilities as follows

AAC - Navy, USF, Houston, and Memphis.

MWC - Boise and SDSU.

MAC - Toledo and WMU.

SBC - Troy

I'm not anti Montgomery having missed out the last 5 years. I can drink and celebrate in any town!!

I think Navy's situation is going to be interesting. Their loss is to Air Force, which on the surface is a bad loss, but as a Serivce Academy, the committee might respect the Midshipmen more than a traditional team in that spot.

Nope. It'll be a respectable number, though. Couple us not playing in a while with riding a bowl season and it'll bring out some casual fans...plus the usual suspects. Let's see what we have for umass and it should be a pretty good indication of what will become of my the attendance report.
