ANNOUNCING PROJECT AURORA

I don't want to sound whiny because I love this site, and am very appreciative of the work you do, but not having an app would be a less than ideal experience. I certainly understand that you have your work cut out for you just to re-write the site, but I do hope that you will not completely write off the idea of an app as something you may revisit after the site is squared away. Tappatalk drives me crazy, but not half as much as having to browse a web page in crappy mobile chrome would.

Agree but with a robust test community (I'm about 99.5% on mobile now) we should be able to drive a positive user experience. PM sent and looking forward to the next level!

I'd pay extra. It would be very popular on the various conference main boards.

I don't think we have the bandwidth

swagger #12,

Very dumb question that I likely already know the answer to: is it really worth the "extra" traffic to maintain interfaces to tapatalk and a mobile app?

I can use Safari on my iPhone just fine, to login to csnbbs.com, both to read and (slowly) post. No problems there.

Heh, I don't even know what tapatalk is. Does it improve your life?

Getting rid of the current board software. Replacing it with stuff I'm custom writing. Will look almost the same but have new features everyone desires and be low maintenance which I desire.

So you'll be replacing our virtual selves with another virtual self. Find this all deeply disturbing.
