Your game next weekend at home next weekend against NMSU is huge. A win gets you to 4-3 and I think a real possibility of getting to 6 wins. Petrino has done a nice job of turning the program around given the circumstances he has had to deal with.

Agreed on all counts. I get that Petrino is a jerk but he's been loyal to the program and considering the mess he inherited and the recruiting headwinds he's dealt with I think he's doing a very good job.

We need to beat NMSU and they scare me. They've been better than us offensively so far this year. One thing that gives me confidence -- we'll likely win the turnover battle again. Linehan hasn't been great this year but he's been very careful with the football. Meanwhile NMSU's QB has thrown a ton of picks and our D has been opportunistic. Also, NMSU's D isn't exactly UW or Troy, or even ULM. And we're at home. So I'm looking for another close win.
