I am a big fan of the program, have followed the team for 30 years, have followed this board board for 10, but I'm not even close to that many messages.
I will give SI a little credit in that he may have Anderson's coaching strategy pegged. Seems to me that his teams perform poorly against better or even talent, but do well against teams with less talent. The remaining question is whether his teams do have better talent and if that is enough to overcome all the mistakes and poor decisions.
He posts a lot on Memphis and CUSA boards too. Maybe others as well.
Got banned from CUSA for saying the SBC would surpass them in football, and mostly touted the SBC, especially the addition of GaSo, and AppSt on the other forums on this site.
I pretty much know what the folks on AStateNation, and the local media that covers them tell me when it comes to almost anything regarding their program.
In the past i did have "sources" within their program, but not for the last 2-3 years.
The only thing I know is that a company that contracted me to crunch some numbers has this A-State team with 9 win's +/-1, and the best roster of talent in the SBC. Last year 8 wins +/-1. They are suppose to be good at what they do.
Except for the fact I agreed to monitor a forum on another schools message board, and have enjoyed the banter with the GaSo posters here so looked forward to their game, I normally don't watch or follow collegefootball that close after I turn in my spreadsheet.
Exactly what weight can you give to coaching ineptitude in OOC play?

He's the moderator of the "Other Arkansas Colleges and Universities" forum on Hogville and posts tons of stAte stuff. He is the resident stAte expert over there.

Y'all remember a guy that came on here a while back, requesting reps from other schools, wanting weekly updates of teams? I got the impression that he was from gambling site or a fantasy football site. I'd almost. I'm guessing that's who is employing Seminole.

If, as he claims, is so focused on individual players and is constantly discussing on the talent of skill players as opposed to the players in the trenches, this would make sense. Daily fantasy football wouldn't make a difference in regards to the schools final record though it would make sense to hire someone who is completing evaluations of individual players to do an analysis comparing teams in a conference and division.
