Dumb post
If BLM is a terrorist-organization, then what do we classify the KKK? As far as I see it, BLM have not committed any crimes but there're several (excuse me hundreds) of crimes associated with the KKK.
Honestly, this thread does not belong on a sports page. Mods please lock and or delete.
The problem with BLM is that it ISNT an organization. Its a loose collaboration of a wide number of groups, which some do not represent the movement well. Of course the media focuses on the worst of those groups to paint a singular image.
I am aware of many BLM groups that are very locally focused and are doing positive things within the community. They raise awareness through speeches instead of rioting, they educate those within their community about appropriate interaction with law officers and work toward resolution of issues with accountability for all that do not follow the law.
Just as I hate when people speak of "white people" as if all people of a color are automatically identical, I think its important to see BLM as what it is... a movement but not an organization. We cannot blame the entire for the action of the part... similar to we cannot blame all police for the actions of the few.

I'm sorry, but this topic has no room for reasonable, balanced posts.

So, what we have is some folks with more melanin than others. Everything else we create. Race and divisions based on it is an ignorant concept. Black music/white music, BET, some country clubs, of course kkk and black panthers etc are racist institutions imo because they base their creeds overtly or covertly in melanin amount.
Media feeds this frenzy because it's the flavor of our time.
Until we exist simply as the human race, truely choose to love one another, and stop race based institutions from thriving, we lose.
Do you really wanna go down this rabbit hole in terms of biological classification.
Race is most certainly a classification that you can research on your own. The big problem is that the term has been misused in sociological contexts to evil ends.
The classification that you are looking for that makes us all humans is species. Species can reproduce and have viable offspring, e.g. offspring that can reproduce and have viable offspring. A real life example would be a horse and a donkey. They can reproduce but their offspring, mules, cannot reproduce. We are most certainly biologically the same species. To reduce racial differemces to measures of melanin is simplistic. There are plenty of racial differences many that are not identifiable to untrained biologists. This is actually the diversity many long to embrace.
Biologically, excluding race when discussing humans due to sensitive sociological and political points is valid. In a strictly biological sense it is absurd to even the least educated individual to deny that there is no such thing as race.
The most interesting research being conducted is whether humans and earlier forms of humans like Neanderthals could produce viable offspring. I'm not sure geneticists have solved that mystery.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(biology)
Once again, it's a dangerous term for sociological and political reasons when applied to humans. A concept I understand and appreciate.
There are no genes for "race" which is a concept wholly a human construction.
