Yep, right now this old man is all in on Schor and this has nothing to do with what Mitch has shown me, but rather Schor's play has shown me nothing to get down on him about.

Seriously, this may be the most idiotic post I have ever seen. Schor played great in 3 out of 4 games. He had an off day on the road playing in the wind today. He was off but still only threw 1 INT......and I think he has 1 INT thru 4 games.

We got folks on here begging for Mitch and in limited play has 1 INT and 3 other balls that were thrown right into coverage.

Anytime you win on the road in conference it is a good win. Especially against a team that had the extra week to prepare on the 2nd week of consecutive road games for JMU, the conference opener for both teams, long road trip with the dreaded Noon kickoff in a lackluster environment. That often leads to subpar halfs and/or entire games. This JMU team woke up at halftime and dominated the second half.

I have never seen a board so upset after an 11 point win on the road. This is NOT Madden -- every game is not a blowout. The kids at Maine are actually on scholarship also and they pay their coaches as well.

What do you expect from Dad "Doom and Gloom" Gum?

+3. Agreed on saying that we won't make the playoffs with Schor is idiotic. Now maybe won't make a deep run with him (I think JMU can). Schor has one off game (and he wasn't that off) where it was as reported in the other thread a 20 mph wind before kickoff with higher gusts. I'll take 12-22 (55%) with 1 TD & 1 INT in very windy conditions against historically one of the CAA's better defenses. I think he would have had more success with better play calling by the OC. He's completing 67% of his passes with 5 TDs to 2 INTs. 14 for 22 (64%) for 218 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT in 3+ quarters against a P5 defense. He leads the CAA in pass efficiency. He's capable of making all CAA (top 3-4 QBs in the CAA).

Yep, I like facts too. Schor is and will be just fine. He's not Rodney or Vad and he doesn't need to be. Everyone's favorite player is always QB2. Yes, I wish his long ball was more accurate, but if you had told me what BDK stated above, in August, I would've taken it in a heartbeat and not even thought about it.

I recorded the game and as I like to do have re-watched a lot of it. While Schor had some errant passes (such as the interception in the end zone into triple coverage - although the receiver may have run an incorrect route), I also saw this: He had two long incompletions down the left sideline....one was called as interference (the 15 yd penalty where the official never announced what the penalty was) and the other the DB was briefly holding our receiver's jersey slowing him down and there was no call on that one. Seems like there was another no-call as well. There were also a few that there was double coverage on the receiver and it looks like he may have thrown high just to throw the ball away.

LOL okay.

I actually agree with him. I think we've seen enough. His ball placement over 15 yards is a wish.

I had to bump this..
