Two of the worst possible candidates in history. Thankfully, I don't have to vote for either of them.

Funny. The GOP probably has more governors and state legislatures than any time in their history.

Gerrymandering.

You can't gerrymander states.

LOL what a joke. you basically are pissy that revisionist history is dying out.

So the many Native Americans tribes who exterminated other tribes didn't exist?

The Indian braves who would take babies and smash their heads against a tree didn't exist?

The use of torture by Native Americans didn't happen?

Neither side weren't good by an objective standpoint. It was a conflict filled with nuance. I understand that. Do you?

You do realize that the only reason there are any dim members of congress from the South is because of gerrymandering right? I mean you don't think that people as ignorant as this:

could actually win an election in a district where they actually stood a chance of facing opposition do you?

RE: What is the worst case scenario for the GOP?
Donald Trump is their nominee.... has the GOP really not reached worst case scenario?

As a social liberal and economic / foreign policy pragmatist I'd love to see a republican party principal on fiscal conservatism, reasonable on social issues and losing the hateful racist, homophobic baggage. I'd love to see real fights on regulation and tax reform, and entitlements. Instead we get a party hunkered down on Isolationism, high tariffs (anti-free trade), building a wall when more Mexicans are leaving than coming and rhetoric on how dangerous the country is when crime continues to be down across the board. There has never been a nominee with less knowledge of the issues and the best and brightest in the party refuse to work for Trump so he can't even surround himself with competence.

If the battles you care about are fiscal responsibility, free trade and reigning in government, I'm pretty sure you couldn't do worse as a republican than Donald Trump as the nominee.

As a social moderate and fiscal conservative advocate of a balanced budget and smaller government, who favors a strong defense and a non-interventionist (not isolationist) foreign policy, I tend to agree.

Romney was +7 with this group in 2012. How does the GOP recover? Trump has killed the party.

Worst case for the Republicans seems it is just really hard to get that damn smile off of our faces with all of this #winning going on. It really is a burden, but we are happy to accept it.

You know, that's true. Now, when my neighbor who supported Killary big time drives by my house I wave at her with a big smile on my face and she scowls at me thinking that I'm making fun of her. Sad…tsk.

I am, sort of but that's no reason for her to hate me. Right?

Worst case scenario is the Obama administration allowed the Russians to hack the DNC and the Republicans control the government for 16 years.
