RE: Game Thread: South Alabama @ Louisiana Lafayette
Don't look now, but Louisiana is starting to gel.

With Jennings at QB, a more wide open offense, a healthy Riles at WR, and The Prophet free to roam, the Cajuns have a pretty dangerous inside/outside attack going right now.

Train is leaving station....

Btw, it was very nice of the Cajuns to honor the Jag AD, coaches, and fans at the game.

Did you attend in person? If not I'm curious if you had any fans who were able to sample some tailgating fare.

I did not. I came down with a high fever Friday and slept over 15 hours Friday night (and had hallucinations 03-drunk) and didn't want to chance sitting in rain. But there was a special on the recovery relief where we helped at SELA University and Louisiana Lafayette on the Joey Jones Show last night and they showed how the Cajuns honored us during the second quarter.

Rest assured everyone who has ever been to Lafayette for a game rave about the tailgating and the "Krewe de Chew." I think you even got a few people to do the chicken dance. :)

We were very touched by the help that USA sent to our area. Seeing the Universities two Presidents,AD's and Head Coaches during the presentation to your Universities President was a very special moment.....very proud of both Universities.

Roosta' Dance, Skully, Roosta' Dance! The Krewe de Chew were awesome. It was humbling seeing the tribute to USA concerning the flood relief. Cajuns can tailgate with us anytime in Mobile.

RE: Game Thread: South Alabama @ Louisiana Lafayette
All of us in the "Krewe de Chew" were happy to have our friends (new and old) from USA come by and eat, drink, dance and do "Da Roosta" with us! LMAO!!! We really enjoy having fans from our visiting teams come by an experience our game day tailgating festivities. I wasn't able to make the trip to Mobile last season, but have made it in the past and hope to go next season if everything works out.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to invite any other fans of teams that will be visiting Lafayette to play the Cajuns this year (or any time in the future) to look us up and come by our tailgating spot for an experience I'm sure you won't find anywhere else!! The only thing that we require is that you show up with an open mind and a willingness to party and have a good time!!! In the event any of you would like to make a visit to the Krewe de Chew, visit our little website at http://www.krewedechew.net to find our tailgating location at Cajun Field and a few other useless facts about our little group! But don't wait too long to come over and visit because some of us just "Can't Roosta Like we Used to"!!! LOL!!!!

App State, y'all are up next. It will be a weeknight game, but hopefully we will see a few Mountaineers!!!!
