From what I can tell from "The Den", most Arkansas State fans who are complaining about App and Southern are bitter. If they were winning, they wouldn't care about what App or Southern does but heaven forbid the newbs get any respect.

So you are the one to bring it up, ESPN brings it up, the entire stAte board is obsessed with it and claim it's the only reason App gets respect (or because playing a cupcake OOC schedule and when you all showed up, App played a real team and got dominated (center)).

I don't see App fan's bring it up and if anything, most claim to be exhausted by it, Satterfield is tired of hearing about it, players don't care about it and quite frankly, it's getting a bit old.

I think with Neal Brown, Troy might become a third (or fifth) team again, whichever way you look at it. I think most people are of stAte's OOC performances at this point. It's a bad look for the Belt to get beat down OOC and then go undefeated in conference and then claim the conference doesn't respect you. It's almost like sabotage.

It doesn't hurt the conference that bad considering the team has gone 18-3 since that loss to Liberty almost 2 years ago.

As much as TXST has had its ups and downs since moving to the FBS level, we haven't lost to an FCS team.

I will back up App fans on this. The only people that bring up the Michigan win, are non app state fans. Can't blame the apps for that. And I'm not gonna lie, I'd love to get an OOC schedule that has winnable games like that, and so would every SBC team. I'd gladly change a money game out to play ODU. Win 10 or 11 games every year for a couple years and the recognition will come. That's why app is getting votes in the polls and getting talked about. I'd also be willing to bet that starting last year, App would have fared better OOC with Ark State's schedule than Ark State did. App had 1 bad game and 1 bad game is not indicative of an entire season. Ark State has played a "harder" OOC schedule, and where has it got them in terms of national recognition? Nowhere. Because they haven't won.

With that said, that's all I can take of sticking up for app state. I'm gonna go throw up.

Well....

1) App State winning at Michigan is like us having a bunch of famous coaches for a year. The media will NOT shut up about both...long after the sell buy date. I do not blame App.

2) I really do not care what you think of our OOC versus in conference records or "how it looks". We aren't going to step aside in conference just because we lost OOC. You should have stopped us if you didn't like how it was going to look. We'll continue to try to do our best in conference regardless of pur OOC record. Sorry.
