Need those Troy Hoplites to beat Southern Miss. That would be huge and secure a winning record against CUSA for the regular season. Then we need GS and App to go on the road in week 4 to MAC country and get wins to get 3-2 against the MAC.

BTW, Massey has us above the MAC and CUSA though the composite still has us last.

With Ark state and ULL on the bench we have a nice stable to maintain this kind of recognition and momentum long term.

I was posting tongue firmly planted in cheek, The ELO Chess he does for conferences has the SB much lower on the list. I conveniently did not post that list. I did not even bother to check any of the other sites that do rankings. Some don't come out until a few more weeks into the season.

It is nice to be above a Prig5 conference though, even if only fleeting.

The composite will change as the ratings come in. CUSA is currently last.
