Those Miami pricks have no idea what they are walking in to... hope y'all beat 'em by 50.

ODU and FAU played close last season and don't look much different this season. If the transitive property in football is real then it should be a close game. I think the defense keeps this game close anyway but Lamb has been holding on to the ball too long. I want to see more spot throws with one on one match ups to the sideline.

Spot throws are dependent on receivers being where they are supposed to be. That hasn't been the case in a lot of incidences. People have a tendency to blame the QB and often overlook the reasons why he had to hold on to the ball.

A lot of our fans were upset with our play, but I'd say our program is in a good place when fans are complaining about a 31-7 win over a G5 team. I'm just glad we got a W and
were never pushed too hard considering all the possible distractions surrounding the game.

ODU has improved, but they have to find a QB.

That ODU qb would not go down with the ball in his hands no matter what. He refused to accept a sack. Did some crazy things.

You're right, with a better QB they would be a pretty good team. Definitely improved on both sides (especially defense) from last season.

Sounds like Heinicke.

I don't think they improved much. The circumstances of the gae changed and outside of a few plays, they weren't able to do much. Satt put the game on cruise once it was obvious that the defense would hold and that Wilder wouldn't kick field goals and I'm hoping the motivation for the lack of passing in the second half was a result of not opening the play book.

I understand that the QB needs to have faith the wide receiver will be there, but other than the Marcus Cox TD, and the pass up the line to Meadors, I haven't seen a real shot to take advantage of a one on one match-up. I don't mean spot throw across the middle. I just mean that if you see your man has a step up the boundary and you see the safety crash (which will happen this week), put the ball out there as far as you can.

Without having coaches film, it is impossible for any of us to say. I'll be rewatching the ODU game this week to see what can be gleaned.
