Yea I mean how often does a player have rushing, passing, and receiving TDs in one game? I remember back maybe like 2006 or 2007 when LT played for the Chargers he had the trifecta. I wish I could remember how long the announcer had said that it had been since that was done in an NFL game. I imagine it probably is more frequent in college football though.

While Jones numbers were outstanding. If you are the SBC you look at the competition. Dallas Davis first start ever and he leads the Jags to its first win in football history over an SEC school. I think the SBC wanted to focus on that game since it was a bigger win overall for the conference.

We go over this every year, the league has nothing to do with it. Media vote on player of the week.

Coaches and SID's nominate as well. We've run into times before with this vote where a player didn't win and we find out his own coach didn't nominate him.
