Have seen conflicting reports, with the ESPN related reports saying that Memphis is out.

If this is correct all i can say is c'est la guerre. It is what it is. Believe it was a mistake and it will be shown to be a big mistake in the coming years. But that is not my choice to make.

If not true, i believe you will find that Memphis has a lot more to offer than what many erroneously think. The State of Tennessee finally got around to giving Memphis their own Board of Regents and untied the schools hands for the future. The future academically and athletically is on an upward path. School has purchased a large part of the community around the campus to expand it's academic footprint. While the south campus(athletic facilities) is undergoing a massive upgrade.
