Blow out's in 3 of 4 OOC games only to win the conference...again.

Arkansas State from that moment forward should be 05-ban

It's not our problem no one in this league has been able to beat us consistently.

And plese, don't count Utah State as a loss just yet, we did beat those guys last meeting.

I don't care that you picked GS to win, but please tell me why you think MSU looked like a train wreck. You didn't watch the entire game. All because USA beat them doesn't mean they're a train wreck. Our defense made some outstanding plays and was excellent defending the pass. MSU wasn't settled in at QB and had some kicking trouble, but it was the first game of the season. Many teams across the country weren't settled at QB and we missed two field goals ourselves. MSU might end up being a terrible team, but I wouldn't bet on it. They have some things to work on (as does every team) but they have the talent to be a decent team this year. If you want to pick GS, just say it's because we've always struggled defending the option. Or that GS has a great defense. Or that our defense gave up a lot of rushing yards to MSU who isn't on the same caliber in rushing as GS. But I wouldn't call MSU a train wreck; that is just a thinly veiled attempt to discredit a big win for USA.

They looked like a weak SEC team. missed tackles. missed field goal which was like a extra point etc. Its a good win regardless, but Id be surprised if MSU is bowling this year if they have more games like that.

I remember the year Alabama won the BCS championship over LSU. They had HORRIBLE kicking that year and Saban even said he would rethink his opposition to offering scholarships to kickers.

Lane Kiffin might never get a kind word from a USC fan, but many credit his decision to offer scholarships to multiple punters and kickers as a big reason why the sanction-ravaged Trojans never really bottomed out as badly as predicted.

If you can't build an offense and/or defense that will win you games each week, there is plenty of value in investing in guys who can win you the field position battle and ensure points anytime you get decent penetration on a drive.

App has never even won the Sunbelt, They couldn't even beat Ark State last year in Boone. ODU can absolutely beat App. Last year is last year, having a defeatist attitude against a Sunbelt is just sad

Agree. And no one on that squad or coaching staff is going down there with anything but a win in mind.

So basically, ODU should win because they're CUSA and App is Sun Belt. 03-lmfao

I have App winning, but I don't think it will be like last year. After the beat down App gave ODU last season, I think it was a real wake up call for ODU and they played much better after that. Two seasons ago WKU lost to La Tech 59-10 and now have won 13 conference games in a row and only lost 2 games since. I see a score like 38-24 happening

"ODU should win because App State lost to Arkansas State last year"

Transitive property of football is still a required course at Tech I see.
