But if we see an unusual amount of poor tackling, it can only be blamed on no contact.
And it's not like we were immune from poor tackling last year...I saw a lot of failed arm tackles.
I'm confused, what does poor tackling have to do with ultimately using the first half of the game against a Top G5 time as a try out for QB's?
He's talking about the possible tackling issue that could arise from not hitting a lot this camp.

I guessed that was what he meant but I wasn't sure what it had to do with the 2 QB system. I'm sure tackling is a concern for every team early on however a 2 QB system is something that can be avoided. Save it for your FCS game and let one guy go in to the game that actually matters knowing he is going to be the guy. If he isn't doing well, pull him after halftime. To pull a guy 2 series in to the first live action game is a terrible idea.
I'll defer to the guy making the big bucks on this.

If only I had chosen a career other than aerospace and gone into athletics.
Still think it's a bad idea but i'll leave the decisions to them as well. Possibly the only game i'll pull for State all season and they want to ruin it.

I'm not sure the fact you might actually cheer for us today was part of the reason we did it.
We're uneasy about this as well, but there is logic too it, and the bottom line is we trust Anderson.

My nephew just started his full ride at UofA-Huntsville this Fall. He passed up a full ride at Michigan for engineering to pursue aerospace engineering.
Does App have a aerospace program?

It's not that I don't believe your coach knows what he's doing, I just think that it is the wrong game.

Grew up 30 minutes down the mountain which makes me more qualified to speak then most would consider. I wanted to be further from home for college which was really my reasoning for not attending App despite being accepted.
That said, enough derailment has occurred. 2 and a half hours!
