Exclamation Your Ideal Football Conference Slate
If you had to pick 8 or 9 G5 teams to play (as a conference) every year, who would they be?

1. Arkansas State
2. Louisiana
3. Appalachian State
4. Georgia Southern
5. Southern Miss
6. Western Kentucky
7. Middle Tennessee
8. South Alabama
9. UAB

Possible G5 OOC opponents I'd like to schedule: Houston, Memphis, Northern Illinois, Ohio.

I like the top 5 like minded core with Troy replacing stAte. Add Tulsa, Memphis, La Tech for regional flavor. Can't decide on the last one - Texas State probably.

That would touch recruiting states of Louisiana, Miss, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. I think stAte has good rivalries with most of these teams and developing rivalries with the others. I like App, and Tx State, but N.C. is not in our recruiting zone and SMU is the Dallas metroplex.
