Paul has to rely on his offense to protect his defense, sometime it works, sometime it doesn't, I think GS is never going to have a better chance to beat GT than this year.

Completely agree. If we're ever going to beat an instate P5, it'll be this year. After this season, GT and UGA won't want anything to do with us. Our hardest stretch is @WMU, @StAte, @GT, and App. If we can win 3 out of those 4, I'll be a happy camper. Realistically we go 2-2.

Our best chance to beat GT was 2014 and our best chance to beat UGA was last year. 03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead
Hopefully we can play solid against GT and not turn it over this year.

Also, we are going undefeated into the Ole Miss game. 02-13-banana

I agree we game close in 2014 but GT was a Gator Bowl Champ that year and they're defense was gassed by the second half. They won't be as good this time around and we'll be better than we were in 2014.

APP @ Tennessee
stAte @ Auburn
New Mexico @ NMSU
GS @ Ole Miss
GSU @ Air Force

I think as of now State has a better shot at Air Force than y'all do at Ole Miss and App @ Tennessee. We lost by 10 to them 2 years ago. If we show we have a serviceable QB and a healthy running game, it moves into the top 3 easy.

RE: 2016 Upset Predictions
I agree you guys are on "borrowed time" in terms of scheduling GT and Georgia in the future, its a shame, because it would be such a great thing for GS to set up an annual game with one or both of these teams, but unfortunately one way to keep you guys on the back pages of the newspaper, is simply not play you guys. Carolina does that with us, they would rather give the money to an out of state team, then to support an instate school.

I'm not so sure that will be the case with GT so long as we continue to agree to only play in Atlanta. It's obvious they are not willing to do the H & H as they backed out of that already.

I think any of our other OOC games would not be considered an upset by anyone should we win.

Get real, Genius. What SBC team has a snowball in hell's chance of upsetting an SEC team?

That was then. Possibly could happen one day. Not likely this year.

South came close against Tennessee a couple of years ago, but no cigar.

We very nearly beat Mizzou last year. Likely would have if we didn't lose our starting QB and RB halfway through the game.

S&P+ has us ranked higher than tech but i'm sure Vegas will have us as underdog, and rightfully so come game time.

It's not like there are a ton of great teams in the SEC. Many are overrated.

Sure, none of us are beating Alabama and LSU, but I certainly wouldn't put it past an SBC team to beat an SEC team this year.
