Oh, that's comforting coming from a stAte fan. We of the "almost all of our games will be on." That list is 5 of 8 games they state will be carried. We have no SBC broadcasts per the schedule. You think we're going to get many games out of what's left?

The past 3 years I have been able to get almost every TXST game from one form of media or another. This sucks.

Yeah I'm liking the Cajuns as a bet given that start time.

And that is called "accurate thinking". Take Louisiana plus the points on that one.

You can still get them on ESPN3, just like last year, these are only games that will be live broadcast over the air

Every SBC home game is at worst on ESPN3, like it has been for the past several years and like the league has said every time TV comes up. They are using a 12-day window to announce broadcasts, just like they did last year.

I remember trying to watch the app odu game streaming on asn last year and it was a joke. There were cartoons and then a fcs game on. I just wish we could have let cusa keep it. It's more up their alley.

As long as the games are between 2 competitive teams and the home crowd doesn't have empty seats.

WMYA out of Asheville/Gville/Sptbg normally broadcasts ASN games for their SoCon deal and with this new option both WCU and App games will be available for the folks who can't make games. They showed App's games vs Howard and Old Dominion in 2015. Good news for the Sun Belt.

time warner is available in much of the dfw area or you can get asn on channel 47-1 over the air.

From the stAte perspective, I hope to heavens we are never on ASN for a couple reasons: 1. There is one ASN Affiliate in Arkansas, only a few people actually can watch it, and the station never carried local games. 2. It means are not on an ESPN Network that day...and I want as many games possible on an ESPN network

I'd gladly trade those spots to Texas State.

I thought they will still be on ESPN3. I guess you are saying it won't be on ESPN2/U, but that also means you are playing on a Saturday. So you could have 4 of your 6 home games (all SBC games) be midweek if you really want to be on ESPN that bad.

What additional exposure? We still get ESPN3...yes, but ASN is not going to bring any extra eyeballs. You guys have to understand how ASN works. They have a slew of options for games, and we would be one of those options

It means we probably get our games on a single station...in Arkansas, and we basically get the eyeballs of people who are our own fans anyway, and we lose control of kickoff times, meaning the potential of kicking off at Noon one day all for the glory of a game getting broadcast to an additional 400 people, and that's if a Jonesboro station actually pays to pick up ASN games, AND KATV moves our games off its stupid digital channel that no one gets.

We get zero exposure out of ASN

Our administration has made it very clear that we would gladly trade giving up Saturday home games for the chance of getting an ESPN2 or U Midweek broadcast. Otherwise we would have turned down ESPN when they wanted to move Toledo to a Friday Night against all the local High Schools

ESPN games bring viewers who have never seen us before. ASN games bring nothing. And yes, I know we still get ESPN3.
