He graduated UL early so we get him for 2 years, no sitting out! That's my kind of graduate transfer.

Nice work. I think our transfer will have to sit out a year, but he's well worth it. Looks like you guys went from zero to hero in short order keeping the JUCO guy who wanted to transfer and getting this guy. Could be a better year than expected for USA.

Yes, Jimmie Gipson played for your new assistant coach at EMCC and had 16 sacks for him. Showed a lot of potential as a backup in 2014 but then tore his Achilles tendon last summer. That injury is what made his decision to transfer a puzzler since his options must have been limited. Glad to have him back.
